On Saturday I invited friends over to play some games. The first guy who arrived pointed out the nearby transformer that was on fire. When the power finally went out, a couple guys realized their cars were trapped in due to the gigantic cranes being used to repair the transformer. That was the cue to bring out the generator.
I thought the whole situation was really crazy, but everyone else seemed mostly unphased. It was a very memorable night overall.
