Year Three
Saturday February 14, 2026
I nearly forgot about the third year anniversary of this site. Happy Valentine’s Day. Some highlights from the past year include…
- Many more stickers being designed
- The creation of the JAMMS zine
- Revamps of key pages like the shop, high scores, and gallery
- A microblog (only visible on desktops)
Looking Back
I feel like the site has been in cruise control, which is not a bad thing. I made significantly more posts in year two compared to year three, probably because a lot of my writing time has been put towards working on JAMMS. It takes a lot more effort, but it’s much more fun and satisfying for me to work on. This site has always been a reflection of whatever I’m into at the time, and right now it’s reflecting “printed media and stickers.”
The high score page is still my favorite page on the site. It has been forever since a new score has been set, because the winter sucks ass. Chilling out there in the summer with the door wide open is the optimal garage experience. The recent snow storm plus my temporarily awful work schedule has turned me into a hermit, but I did host a Cyberbots Tournament with my non-fighting-game-playing friends back in November. I made a flyer for it and everything. None of this is really relevant to the site being around for three years, but whatever.

It was supposed to be a “friendsgiving” event, which is why Jin is holding a turkey leg. We ordered halal slop instead. I did not win the tournament.
Oh yeah, Cactus Comments broke. I replaced the comments section on most pages with “mailto” links, but I do miss having an actual comments section. The old comments still show up in my Matrix client, so maybe I’ll try to archive them somehow.
Looking Forward
I’m happy with the first JAMMS issue, but my goal for the second issue is to fill more pages with written content instead of relying so much on visual elements. I underestimated how much time the written elements would take, but I’m sure that when I get through it, the quality of the second issue will far surpass the first. I hope the centerfold for the second issue turns out great. Unforunately, the first centerfold has passed it’s expiration date, meaning I don’t like it anymore. I will suck it up and continue printing it without modifications, but I’m looking forward to the next one.
I just reread the “looking forward” part of last year’s post. Wow. I was being a spaz. I think I was wrestling with the fact that I like to draw naked ladies, but I didn’t want to plainly admit that to people. I feel less weird about admitting it now, for some reason. I have been staying away from porn, which has me pondering why I like to draw such things, and if there is a healthy balance that can be achieved.
Thank you for reading this. Massive thank you to those who have purchased stickers or a copy of the zine. It’s really cool that I can refuse to participate in the modern internet things that I hate, but still be discovered and supported by people who “get it.”
